A company using an in-house created tool that no longer met their needs needed replacing. I was asked to assess needs, gather requirements, and assess options for replacement.

Assessment

I conducted research, interviewing the various users of the tool, understanding and creating user personas. Understood the needs and requirements for each of the persona types, as well as company non-functional requirements, documenting them in a business requirements document, researched potential solution tools, narrowed the options based on hard requirements, and along with key stakeholders, scheduled demos with vendors, and presented findings and options to stakeholders along the way.
